Jasmine flowers have an unmistakable smell attached to them.
The Jasmine is a very popular flower around the world especially in the tropics because of its unique fragrance. The Jasmine is native to tropical and warm or temperate regions of the old world.
Jasmine is a genus of shrubs and vines in the olive family. It contains around 200 species native to tropical and warm temperate regions of Eurasia and Oceania. Jasmines are widely cultivated for the characteristic fragrance of their flowers.
The white, yellow, or rarely pink flowers are tubular with a flaring, lobed, pinwheel-like form; some double-flowered varieties have been developed. The leaves can be evergreen or deciduous and usually are composed of two or more leaflets, although some species have simple leaves. The fruit in most species is a two-lobed black berry.
They are star shaped and usually grow in clusters.
The jasmine plant needs full sunlight in order to thrive.
You need to ensure that the soil around the plant is moist, however, over water may not be good for the plant. Hence, make sure that the soil is well-drained.
