Daylily - Find Florists in India - Charming Flowers

They thrive in almost any type of soil, will grow in sun or shade, and are rarely troubled by insect pests or disease. Daylilies are known for their toughness, but they also dazzle with their big, colorful flowers. Blooming starts in midsummer and continues into early fall, with new blossoms opening each day.

The Daylily is not a true lily. So named because most flowers wither within a day of blooming, these plants belong to the genus Hemerocallis. Some bloom only at night, and these varieties are often more fragrant than the day-blooming plants.

You will find a range of colors for daylilies, and each plant tends to bloom repeatedly over an extended period of time.

A daylily or day lily is a flowering plant in the genus Hemerocallis, a member of the family Asphodelaceae, subfamily Hemerocallidoideae. Despite the common name, it is not in fact a lily. Gardening enthusiasts and horticulturists have long bred daylily species for their attractive flowers.

We’ll be sharing more about this flower in future.
